He completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Smith performed his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN and Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and then completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.
